appearances, TTC debuts, and the return of some hardened favourites!
This week we bring you a bumper line up with all genres of music being represented, we want to
show what you TTC is all about – We Are The Tuesday Club!
— — — REDLIGHT — — —
Redlight is a British DJ and Dance Music Producer brought up around 90’s warehouse rave culture in
Bristol. His music and career has spanned over a decade, having spent 12 years grafting on the
underground, popping up for air in 2012 with a couple of Top 10 UK hits in the national charts. He has
since then released his debut solo album entitled X Colour. He has collaborated with artists such as
Mobb Deep, Raekwon (Wu-Tang Clan). Remixed acts including Mary J Blige and Tink, defining genres,
remaining one of the UK’s most consistent and exciting producers of recent years with many more to
come.
With his label ‘Lobster Boy’ embracing a love for House, Techno, Hip Hop and vocal-lead dance music,
whilst channelling his knowledge and love of Jungle, DnB and bass music, it is a whole new genre-free
‘cross-cultured dance music’ label.
This is one artist that truly represents the Tuesday Club ethic – good music, regardless of genre or
tempo, but with strong influences taken from UK bass music culture.

— — — LIL SILVA — — —
Lil Silva, real name TJ Carter, is one of the UK’s most inventive DJs and producers. The underground
machine-funk of 2008 white label ‘Seasons/ Funky Flex’, the swerving, rude and rugged Night Skanker
EP for Night Slugs and the weighty blended bass of ‘Mask’ from 2013’s much-loved Distance EP are
established as huge moment-defining club tracks and mix favourites.
Now 24 years old, he's stepped up as songwriter and vocalist. He’s collaborated with artists including
Jamie Woon, newcomer Rosie Lowe and in particular BANKS. His writing relationship with the LA pop-
star has only gotten stronger since she emailed him the track that became last year’s ‘Work’, having
shaped her sound from the start and as one of the main producers on her forthcoming debut
‘Goddess’. Other collaborators include Sampha, who he shares his endless new ideas and sketches
with.
His newest EP Jimi continues down the experimental theme, with a SBTRKT-style mix of UK soul,
breaks, and electronic funk and features his own vocals.

— — — MONKI — — —
Monki is an underground tastemaker championing new electronic talent on her Radio 1/ 1Xtra slot
and digital imprint Zoo Music. Monki’s box-fresh bass music inspired sets include everything from
piano house rave stabs to skeleton shattering bass.
Monki started her radio career in Tolworth at a work experience placement with revolutionary free
love and 60s pirate station Radio Jackie. It was during her placement that she scored an internship
working for underground vanguard Rinse FM. After a year of making tea and fetching Nandos at the
then pirate station, Rinse founder Geeneus offered her the Thursday morning slot. After 4 years at
Rinse, Monki was snapped up by Radio 1’s In New DJs We Trust and now has her own show Monday
nights 10pm – 1am (GMT) on 1xtra and Sunday nights into Monday mornings 1-4am on Radio 1.
As a resident at Annie Mac’s influential ‘Annie Mac Presents’ club nights and AMP festival, plus her
own touring club brand ‘Monki & Friends’, this is one DJ that knows how to get a club going and her
set at TTC is surely one not to miss!

— — — NVOY — — —
NVOY are a duo based in London, producing glistening dance music, fusing elements of future RnB,
UK bass, and house.
Marked by their club-oriented dance floor sensibilities, but with a wider melodic and emotional
range, the pair rose at first through internet acclaim on blogs and Youtube channels. NVOY released
‘You Are’ with Black Butter in 2015, subsequently signing and following with singles ‘All Night /
Higher’ and most recently ‘Lord Have Mercy’. Widespread support across BBC R1 & 1xtra followed,
and club support from DJs across the electronic music spectrum.
Alongside their productions, NVOY have gained a reputation for bringing the energy in their genre-
spanning DJ sets, including standout shows at Glastonbury, Motion Bristol, Warehouse Project,
Amnesia Ibiza, and Wildlife, and tonight they make their TTC debut!

— — — HAZARD — — —
There are few artists who can claim to have shot to Drum & Bass fame as quickly, or as succinctly as
Birmingham based DJ Hazard. In just a few short years this incredibly talented producer has knocked
out enough dancefloor bombs to be considered a serious sonic terrorist, adding to the noise pollution
problems of neighbourhoods around the world with his uncompromisingly tight beats and earth-
quaking basslines. Tonight, he’ll be headlining Room 2 with an uncompromising line up of DnB!

— — — KRAKOTA — — —
Hospital Records member Krakota first caught our eye earlier this year when he closed the Hospitality
tent at Kendal Calling (Where TTC also hosted a stage!) with a master class set in DnB, with mixes and
double drops that could rival Andy C! We were so impressed we invited him to come and join us for
his TTC debut playing alongside Hazard in the DnB room.
