The Tuesday Club is temporarily moving venue, after 14 years in its current home at Sheffield Students’ Union, as the Foundry & Fusion venue undergoes extensive refurbishment.

From September this year we will be taking up residence at The Leadmill. We have enjoyed massive success at the Foundry & Fusion running weekly Tuesday events for the last 14 years. The move to The Leadmill, which is steeped in musical history and renowned for being one of the best live music venues in the country, is one we are very excited about.

TTC is nationally known as a specialist music night centered around credible, underground electronic and live music. Past guests include Annie Mac, Skream and Benga, Nero, DJ Fresh, Mark Ronson, Moloko, Mr. Scruff, The Beastie Boys’ Mixmaster Mike, Jamie XX, Chase & Status, Pendulum, Bonobo, Eve, Quantic Soul Ochestra, Roni Size and Roots Manuva.

The key to the success of the night has been to constantly keep an ear to the ground, and bring the freshest new music to TTC’s crowd. By moving to The Leadmill, we will continue to offer the most exciting new music for dance lovers, whilst making use of the venue’s excellent facilities to deliver the highoctane, production lead shows our crowd expect.

The first TTC event at The Leadmill will be on Tuesday 18th September and features Sheffield’s own Toddla T and his newly instated BBC Radio 1 colleague Mosca. Also on the bill will be white-hot drum and bass talent Loadstar. Tickets are on sale now. Find The Tuesday Club on Facebook to stay up to date with all details about the move, and future plans.

Over its 32 years The Leadmill has seen some of the Worlds greatest artists
grace its stage, from Gil Scott-Heron, Massive Attack, SoulWax to The SugarHill
Gang… The Leadmill has played host to them all. We can’t wait for September
to add even more exciting new artists to that list!’

Some special TTC events will run in other venues across the city in the
2012/2013 season, and The Tuesday Club will return to the Foundry & Fusion
at Sheffield Students Union, in September 2013.
