We had the immense pleasure of watching US hip hop legend Pharaohe Monch headline the fantastic Outlook Festival in the summer of 2013. He blew us away, up-staging fellow luminaries The Pharcyde and Mos Def to easily be crowned with performance of the festival.
So when the chance came for us to bring the man whose bangers include the ever-present ‘Simon Says’, ‘Push it’, ’The Life’ and ‘Oh No’ we grabbed it with both hands!
He’s worked with the greatest producers in the game, including demi-god J Dilla, Pete Rock and Sa-Ra. He was a member of the legendary Organized Konfusion, he’s performed with
Nate Dogg, M.O.P, Jill Scott, Royce da 5’9, Mos Def, Common and he’s had releases on the legendary Rawkus records, (deep breath) this is BIG!
